BASIS b-commerce requires a JRE version 5.0 (aka 1.5.0_XX) or higher, available for download from Sun Microsystems, Inc.

TIP: To easily verify the J2SE Development Kit or J2SE Runtime Environment version, go to Start | Control Panel | Add or Remove Programs.
